Pumpkin Pie?


I got feeling that I will soon be searching for recipes for Pumpkin pie. I thought I'd grow a few so my little boy would have fun carving them for halloween. Little did I know that these beasts would take up half the garden and produce around twenty fruits (so far).
Pie anyone?

Lovely pic. Very healthy looking pumpkin. If you need recipes I can provide. I think they freeze well too.

Roast pumpkin is nice - peel it, cut it up and roast it with olive oil, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper. You can it it like this, or purée the roasted peppers, sprinkle with grated cheese and put it under the grill to brown.
