Here are my Lupins, growing away happily, two weeks after being sown. I love to grow as many old fashioned plants as I can. Hollyhocks are also favourite of mine. I'd love to hear from you guys. What do you think will fit in to my cottage garden theme.
I potted up a few more cuttings today. I love Pelargoniums, they are so easy to propagate this way. My plan is to sell a few to friends and passers by to fund my love of gardening. Money is really tight these days and gardening is not always a cheap hobby. The sheds falling apart so that needs mending soon. Might have to go skip diving to get the materials.
Roll on spring, let's get those clocks forward and get growing.
This is the time of year when I get active on the seed sowing front. Tomatoes, marigolds and lupins. The garden's gonna get some special treatment this year. I need to be productive due to the fact that we have had a new addition to the family. Little Archie. Baby boy, 9 pounds and 5 ounces. He will no doubt cost us a small fortune so home grown veg is going to be very useful.
