Leaf mould

After clearing up the leaves from the garden I jammed them into some old bags I had lying around. I'm hoping that next year I'll have lots of lovely mulch to lay around my veggies. After a good few hours of leaf collecting, I felt a bit disappointed that I'd ran out of leaves. Is it wrong to sneak into next doors garden and pinch his leaves?

Only 5 bags? Pathetic!

Pickle wants to know why his Dad is photographing bags of leaves.

Hi,

I wish I had mature trees here so I could gather leaves... Walking around parks and driving around I've been tempted to get a bag and collect as many leaves as possible... I'm certain people going past will think me crazy.

I may be a little bit in love with Pickle!

Leaves look good ... that's already quite a lot, depending on the size of your garden? I've got less than that, but also a tiny garden, so I'm hoping still plenty!

Round us the council leave bags by the side of the street between clearing them from the pavements and picking them up, so if you keep an eye out you may be able to dispose of some for them!

I doubt anyone would mind you gathering their leaves. Our neighborhood maples keep me in fresh supply. Pickles is really cute. I like this photo.

Ha, I'll bet people would be ecstatic to give you their leaves. If you play it right, you could probably even charge money for raking their leaves :)

I could start a new business tidying gardens. You could say I'd be turning over a new leaf. Ha ha

What a wit, Nathan. You've got more leaves than us. Ours just seem to have blown away this year. I think I'll have to scrounge off the neighbours but maybe theirs have blown away a swell. You can never have too much leaf mould!
